Twinning project “Improving quality and comprehensiveness of environmental and health statistics”
The overall objective of this project is improved use of statistical and financial data in policy-making and implementation through strengthening the capacities for production and dissemination of environmental and health statistics.
The project contains the following components:
Component 1 – Environmental and agricultural statistics
- Improving of waste statistics quality
- Improving harmonization of water statistics with EU standards
- Updating quality and number of published environmental statistics indicators
- Using of administrative sources for producing environmental statistics
- Compiling monetary environmental accounts
- Improving energy statistics
- Improving forestry and agricultural statistics
Component 2 – Health statistics
- Preparing European Health Interview Survey (EHIS)
- Improving health accounts
