The State Statistical Office signed a new collective agreement with the Trade Union of Workers in Administration, Judicial Bodies and Citizens' Associations
Greater rights and higher wages for employees
Today, 31.03.2026, a new collective agreement was signed at the State Statistical Office (SSO) with the Trade Union of Employees in Administration, Judicial Bodies and Citizens' Associations (UPOZ), which brings important changes for the employees of the Office. Wages are increasing, and rights and benefits are expanding, providing greater security, stability and opportunities for professional development. The agreement was signed by the Director of the SSO, Dr. Dejan Stankov, the President of the Trade Union of UPOZ, Mr. Trpe Deanoski and the President of the Trade Union Organization at SSO, Mr. Zoran Georgievski.
According to the new agreement, the wages of employees will increase by 7% starting from March 1 this year, as an additional percentage based on legal harmonization. In addition, a continuous increase is planned in the coming years, with a 7% increase from March 1, 2027 and another 7% from March 1, 2028, plus the legal adjustment in line with the minimum wage for each year.
This agreement confirms the value and work of the employees and their contribution to the development and functioning of the institution. The new measures improve their standard and create better conditions for achieving the set goals of the Office.
