Livestock production, 2023
In 2023, compared to 2022, a decrease was registered in cow's milk and sheep's milk production, while production of goat’s milk and eggs was increased.
The cow's milk production in 2023 was 238328 thousand liters, which decreased by 26.5% compared to 2022.
A decrease of 20.5% in 2023 was registered also in sheep's milk production compared to the previous year.
Production of goat's milk increased by 3.3%, compared to the previous year.
In 2023, in comparison with 2022, there was an increase in the eggs production.
