Number of livestock and poultry, 2023
In 2023, compared to 2022, the number of cattle decreased by 9.7% аnd the number of pigs increased by 5.9%.
The total number of cattle in 2023, compared to 2022, decreased by 9.7%. The number of cattle decreased in the individual agricultural holdings and in business entities it increased.
The number of pigs in 2023, compared to 2022 increased by 5.9%. There was an increase in both sectors.
The total number of sheep recorded decreased by 9.2%. In the same period the number of goats increased by 6.7%.
The number of poultry in 2023 compared to the previous year increased by 11.8%.
