Number of livestock and poultry, 2024
In 2024, compared to 2023, the number of cattle decreased by 3.2% and the number of goats increased by 14.5%
The total number of cattle decreased by 3.2% in 2024, compared to 2023. The number of cattle decreased in the individual agricultural holdings and in business entities.
The number of pigs in 2024, compared to 2023, decreased by 7.1%. There was an increase of 27.1% in business entities.
The total number of sheep recorded a decrease of11.9%.
In the same period the number of goats increased by 14.5%.
The number of poultry in 2024 compared to the previous year, decreased by 9.9%.
