Gross Domestic Product, first quarter 2025

Gross Domestic Product grew by 3.0 % in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2024

The growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter of 2024, was 3.0%.

In the first quarter of 2025, a bigger increase was recorded in sections: Construction and Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 7.1% and Information and communication by 4.8 %.

The Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, in the first quarter of 2025, increased by 7.1%, and its share in the GDP structure was 69.0%.

In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 1.4% in nominal terms and Import of goods and services also increased by 4.8%.

According to seasonally and calendar adjusted data, growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the first quarter of 2024 was 3.2%.
