Gross domestic product grew by 3.4% in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the second quarter of 2024
The growth rate of the GDP in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the same quarter of 2024, was 3.4%.
In the second quarter of 2025, a bigger increase was recorded in sections: Construction by 7.3%, Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities by 6.0% and Mining and quarrying; Manufacturing; Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply; Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 3.9%.
The Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, in the second quarter of 2025, increased by 6.1%, and its share in the GDP structure was 68.5 %.
In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 6.4% in nominal terms and Import of goods and services also increased by 7.3%.
According to seasonally and calendar adjusted data, growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the second quarter of 2024 was 3.2%.
