Gross domestic product grew by 3.0% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023
The growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product in the third quarter of 2024 was 3.0%.
In this quarter of 2024, the bigger increase was recorded in sections: G, H and I- Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities by 10.6% and M and N-Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 9.0%.
In the third quarter of 2024, Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, increased by 3.9% in nominal terms, and its share in the GDP structure was 67.7%.
In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 2.0% in nominal terms, while import of goods and services decreased by 1.0%.
Gross capital formation in the third quarter of 2024 registered the nominal increase in gross fixed capital formation and decreased in changes in inventories.
