Correction: Republication of data on electricity and natural gas prices for the second half of 2024

Following the additionally submitted report by the Energy Regulatory Commission, a correction was made to the already published electricity prices for households and industrial consumers in the release for the second half of 2024, published on 01.04.2025

In the second semester of 2024, the average electricity price for households was 6.733 denars/kWh, which represents an increase of 1.6% compared to the first semester of 2024.

The average electricity price without value added tax for non-household consumers is between 5.863 and 14.077 denars/KWh by consumer bands.

The average price of natural gas without value added tax for non-household consumers was between 828.163 and 1 404.270 denars/GJ by consumer bands.

The average retail price of natural gas for households was 1 790.185 denars/GJ.

Key takeaway

In the second half of 2024 compared to the first half of 2024 the increase of 

• Electricity price for end consumers, except households, was from 19.2% to 56.2% 

• The natural gas price for end consumers, except households, was from 5.3% to 16.2%
