Issued building permits, March 2025
The number of issued building permits increased in March 2025 by 4.0% compared to the same period of the previous year
In March 2025 a total of 334 building permits were issued, which was 4.0% more than the same month of the previous year.
According to the issued building permits, the expected total value of the constructions was 20 153 302 thousand denars, which was 244.4% more than the same month of the previous year.
The increased expected value is due to the fact that a permit was issued for building a wastewater treatment plant for the city of Skopje.
Of the total number of issued building permits, 185 (55.4%) are for buildings, 64 (19.2%) are for civil engineering structures, and 85 (25.4%) are for reconstructions.
Of the total of 334 structures, for 149 (44.6%) the investors are private persons, and for 185 (55.4%) structures the investors are business entities.
In the reference period 685 dwellings are planned for construction, with total useful floor area of 57 039 m2.
