Energy is the bloodstream of the national economy. For those reasons, timely and complete energy statistics are needed to monitor the energy situation at the national level, as well as to make decisions about energy policies at the national level.

Also, energy balances are compiled regularly, which show the amount of energy produced in the Republic of North Macedonia as well as the amount of imports. In addition, the energy balances show the energy consumption for the most important economic sectors.
