The total gross electricity produced in April 2025 was 338 832 MWh, which represents 73.6% of the gross national electricity consumption
In April 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 460 185 МWh of electricity, 6.785 million nm3 of natural gas, 305 848 tonnes of coal and 101 241 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 73.6% in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
