Energy, January 2025, preliminary data
The total gross electricity produced in January 2025 was 541 031 MWh, which represents 69.7% of the gross national electricity consumption.
In January 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 775 397 МWh of electricity, 43.679 million nm3 of natural gas, 334 316 tonnes of coal and 82 785 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 69.7% in gross national electricity consumption, while 98.8% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
