More electricity produced than consumed. The total gross electricity production in July 2025 was 458 478 MWh, or 8.8 % more than the gross domestic electricity consumption
In July 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 421 489 МWh of electricity, 25.599 million nm3 of natural gas, 357 665 tonnes of coal and 112 946 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 100% in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.

In July 2025, compared to July 2024:
- Natural gas consumption decreased by 13.9% due to reduced operation of cogeneration plants.
