The total gross electricity produced in March 2025 was 469 417 MWh, which represents 80.4 % of the gross national electricity consumption
In March 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 584 042 МWh of electricity, 20.847 million nm3 of natural gas, 534 635 tonnes of coal and 88 262 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 80.4 % in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
