Energy, September 2025, preliminary data
More electricity was produced than consumed. The total gross electricity production in September 2025 was 391 740 MWh, or 4.9% more than the gross domestic electricity consumption.
In September 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 373 518 МWh of electricity, 19.406 million nm3 of natural gas, 368 114 tonnes of coal and 95 577 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 100% in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.

In September 2025, compared to September 2024:
- Natural gas consumption decreased by 15.5 % due to reduced operation of cogeneration plants
