The total gross electricity produced in May 2025 was 335 609 MWh, which represents 89.0 % of the gross national electricity consumption
In May 2025, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 376 989 МWh of electricity, 3.704 million nm3 of natural gas, 341 047 tonnes of coal and 97 186 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 89.0 % in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9% of the total national consumption of coals was used for generation of electricity.
