Structure of energy products consumed in the service sectors according to NACE Rev.2, 2024
Final energy consumption in the service sectors in 2024 amounted to 7 154.551 TJ. According to economic activities classified by the National Classification of Activities (NACE Rev. 2), the highest energy consumption was recorded in the following sectors:
- Trade – 1 483.820 TJ
- Accommodation and food service activities – 1 353.437 TJ
- Human health and social work activities – 778.000 TJ
From an energy perspective, electricity dominates the structure of final energy consumption in the service sectors, accounting for 51.8 %. It is followed by oil products with 21.6 % and ambient heat with 10.8 %. Biomass accounts for 5.9%, district heat for 5.5%, while natural gas accounts for 3.2%. Geothermal and solar thermal energy, together with lignite, account for 1.1% of total final energy consumption.
