Indices of the number of employees in industry, April 2025

The index of the number of employees in April 2025, in comparison with April 2024, was 95.7.                                                                                                                                                                                    
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in April 2025, in comparison with April 2024, decreased by 2.4%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 4.5%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 2.4%.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in April 2025, in comparison with April 2024, was lower in Energy by 3.5%, Capital goods by 8.3%, and Non-durable consumer goods by 5.3%. While the number of employees in industry was higher in Durable consumer goods by 11.8% and remaining unchanged at Intermediate goods, except energy.

The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - April 2025, in comparison with January - April 2024, was 96.0.
