Indices of the number of employees in industry, August 2025

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in August 2025, in comparison with August 2024, decreased by 1.7%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 2.7%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 0.6%.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in August 2025, in comparison with August 2024, was lower in Energy by 1.8%, Capital goods by 7.1% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.2%, but higher in Durable consumer goods by 7.3% and Intermediate goods, except energy by 1.0%.

The number of employees in industry in the period January - August 2025, in comparison with January - August 2024, decreased by 3.8%.
