Indices of the number of employees in industry, March 2025

The index of the number of employees in March 2025, in comparison with March 2024, was 95.7.                                                                                                                                                                                    
The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2025, in comparison with March 2024, decreased by 2.1%, in the section Manufacturing it decreased by 4.5%, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 1.8%.

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in March 2025, in comparison with March 2024, was lower in Energy by 2.8%, Capital goods by 7.3%, Intermediate goods, except energy by 0.5% and Non-durable consumer goods by 6.1%, while the number of employees in industry was higher in Durable consumer goods by 13.4%.

The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - March 2025, in comparison with January - March 2024, was 96.1.
