Indices of the number of employees in industry, November 2024

The index of the number of employees in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023, was 96.0.

The number of employees in industry in the section Mining and quarrying in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023, increased by 4.9 %, and in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it increased by 1.1 %.In the Manufacturing sector, there was a decrease of 4.7%. 

The number of employees in industry by Main Industrial Groupings in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023, was higher in Energy by 4.5 %, and Durable consumer goods by 24.6 %.
A decrease was in Capital goods by 1.7 %, Intermediate goods, except energy by 6.4 % and Non-durable consumer goods by 8.2 %.

The index of the number of employees in industry in the period January - November 2024, in comparison with January - November 2023, was 100.1.
