Industrial production volume index, December 2025
The industrial production in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, increased by 2.3%
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, decreased by 6.6%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 4.5%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 3.9%.
The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased production in the divisions:
- Manufacture of food products,
- Manufacture of beverages,
- Manufacture of rubber and plastic products,
- Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products,
- Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and
- Manufacture of furniture.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 9.8% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.4%, but lower in Energy by 3.9%, Capital goods by 0.8%, Durable consumer goods by 3.8%.
The industrial production in the period January – December 2025, in comparison with January – December 2024, increased by 1.9%.
