Turnover indices in industry, January 2025

The turnover index in industry, total, in January 2025, in comparison with January 2024 by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 13.5%, Capital goods by 11.0%, Durable consumer goods by 15.7% and Non-durable consumer goods by 0.6%.

The turnover index in industry, total, in January 2025, in comparison with December 2024, was 104.9.

The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased turnover in the divisions:

- Manufacture of food products 
- Manufacture of beverages,
- Manufacture of textiles,
- Manufacture of rubber and plastic products,
- Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products,
- Manufacture of basic metals,
- Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment,
- Manufacture of electrical equipment, 
- Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and
- Manufacture of furniture

The turnover index in industry on the domestic market in January 2025, in comparison with January 2024, was 99.5, while on the non-domestic market, in January 2025, in comparison with January 2024, was 110.8.
