Turnover indices in industry, November 2024

The turnover index in industry, total, in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023 by Main Industrial Groupings was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 3.0%, Durable consumer goods by 12.8% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.9%, but lower in Capital goods by 20.5%.

The turnover index in industry, total, in November 2024, in comparison with October 2024, was 105.6, while in the period January- November 2024, in comparison with January- November 2023, the turnover index in industry, total, was 89.2.

The decrease in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to decreased turnover in the divisions:

- Manufacture of tobacco products 
- Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical product and pharmaceutical preparations
- Manufacture of basic metals,
- Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment,
- Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. and 
- Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers.

The turnover index in industry on the domestic market in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023, was 98.7, while on the non-domestic market, in November 2024, in comparison with November 2023, was 89.9.
