Enrolled students in the first cycle of studies, academic year 2023/2024

In the academic year 2023/2024 the number of enrolled students  is 52 316 students, which represents a decrease of 2.8% compared to the previous year 2022/2023. The number of enrolled female students is 30 704 or 58.7%.

The largest number of students, 77.9%, enrolled in state higher education institutions, while 22.1% enrolled in private higher education institutions.

In the first year of studies, in this academic year, 15 330 students or 29.3% of the total number enrolled (this includes students who enroll in the first year for the second, third and multiple times) and 13 676 students enrolled in the first year for the first time.
