Active population, first quarter 2025
The number of unemployed people decreased by 2.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, while it decreased by 8.8% compared to the same quarter last year.
Unemployed men account for 59.8% and women for 40.2% of the total number of unemployed persons. The number of employed persons increased. Of the total number of employed persons, 57.6% are men and 42.4% are women. The share of informal employment increased.
Informally employed persons are 90 383, which is 10.7% more than in the previous quarter. The largest number of informally employed persons is in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector (47.8%) and 16.7% in the Construction sector.
