In the fourth quarter of 2024, the active population amounted to 795 321 people, of which 700 526 were employed, while 94 795 people were unemployed.
The number of employees recorded a slight increase of 0.3% compared to the previous month and an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period last year.
Unemployment in the fourth quarter of 2024 recorded a decrease of 3.6% compared to the previous quarter and a decrease of 7.9% compared to the same quarter last year.
The activity rate in this period is 52.5%, the employment rate is 46.2%, while the unemployment rate is 11.9%.
