Active population, second quarter 2025
The number of unemployed people in the second quarter of 2025 decreased by 1.3% compared to the first quarter of 2025 and by 7.2% compared to the same quarter of the previous year
Unemployed men accounted for 65.5% and women for 34.5% of the total number of unemployed persons. The number of employed persons decreased by 0.1%. Of the total number of employed persons, 57.2% were men and 42.8% were women.
The share of informal employment has increased. There were 98 095 informally employed persons, or 8.5% more than the previous quarter. The largest number of informally employed persons was in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing sector, 51.4%, and in the Construction sector, 17.1%.
