In 2023, there were 20 187 deaths
In 2023, there were 20 187 deaths which represents a decrease of 10.1% compared with previous year.
The structure by sex, shows higher male participation, 10 640 and 9 547 women.
The number of infant deaths was 30 and participation of infant deaths in the total number of deaths was 0.1% (per 100 deaths).
By months, most 1 976 deaths were in January and the least in June 1 497 persons.
The average age of deaths was 72.1 years for males and 76.5 years for females, which means that women outlive men by 4.4 years on average.
Мost deaths by (ICD-IX), were due to circulatory diseases , which up to 43.8% of total number of deaths, neoplasms with 18.6%, while with 7.2% were deaths due endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases , the deaths due to respiratory system diseases with 4.5%, and the others with lower participation
