The natural increase in the fourth quarter in 2024 is negative: -1206 persons
Тhe number of live births recorded in the fourth quarter of 2024 was 3 968, a decrease of 4.2 % compared to the same quarter of the 2023.
The number of deaths in the fourth quarter of 2024 decreased by 1.0% compared to the same quarter of 2023 and it amounted to 5 174, of which 10 were infant deaths.
The natural increase is negative, -1206 persons, representing the difference by which the number of live births is smaller than the number of deaths.
The number of marriages registered in this quarter of the year was 2 430, a decrease of 14.7 % compared to the same quarter of 2023.
In this quarter of 2024, there were 601 divorces, which represents an increase of 23.9% in comparison with the same quarter of 2023.
