Transport of passengers by bus, first quarter of 2025
In the first quarter of 2025 the number of carried passengers in passenger road transport decreased by 8.6% compared to the same quarter of the previous year
In the first quarter of 2025 the total passengers number in road passenger transport was 9845 thousand, a decrease of 8.6% compared to the same quarter of 2024, as follows:
- In urban transport decreased by 12.4%
- In suburban transport decreased by 6.3%
- In national transport increased by 0.8%
- In international transport increased by 54.9%
The total number of passenger-kilometers was 247 877 thousand, an increase of 27.6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year:
- In urban transport increased by 30.5%
- In suburban transport increased by 7.2%
- In national transport decreased by 5.2%
- In international transport increased by 62.6%
