Transport of passengers by bus, fourth quarter of 2024
In the fourth quarter of 2024 the number of carried passengers in passenger road transport decreased by 1.6% compared to the same quarter of the previous year
In the fourth quarter of 2024 the total passengers number in road passenger transport was 10989 thousand, a decrease of 1.6% compared to the same quarter of 2023, as follows:
• In urban transport decreased increeased by 0.3%
• In suburban transport decreased by 8.2%
• In national transport increased by 5.9%
• In international transport increased by 100.5%
The total number of passenger-kilometers was 310 189 an increase of 24.8% in comparison with the same period of last year:
• In urban transport increased by 15.1%
• In suburban transport increased by 11.2%
• In national transport decreased by 1.2%
• In international transport increased by 41.2%
