Transport of passengers by bus, third quarter of 2024
In the third quarter of 2024 the number of carried passengers in passenger road transport decreased by 6.9% compared to the same quarter of the previous year
In the third quarter of 2024 the total passengers number in road passenger transport was 9433 thousand, a decrease of 6.9% compared to the same quarter of 2023, as follows:
• In urban transport decreased by 7.4%
• In suburban transport decreased by 104%
• In national transport increased by 13.2%
• In international transport increased by 2.7%
The total number of passenger-kilometers was 297 428 an increase of 8.9% in comparison with the same period of last year:
• In urban transport increased by 17.3%
• In suburban transport decreased by 1.3%
• In national transport increased by 7.4%
• In international transport decreased by 10.8%
