Transport of passengers and goods, first quarter of 2025
The quantity of goods carried in freight road transport in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by 12.0%, compared to the same quarter of the previous year
In the first quarter of 2025, a total of 962 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport, 8 882 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 61 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 638 180 passengers were carried in air transport.
In the first quarter of 2025, in comparison with the same period of 2024, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport decreased by 12.0%, in rail transport decreased by 21.9%, while in air transport decreased by 1.6%.
