Transport of passengers and goods, fourth quarter of 2024
The quantity of goods carried in freight road transport in the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 8.7%, compared to the same quarter of the previous year
In the fourth quarter of 2024, a total of 1 108 thousand passengers were carried in road passenger transport, 9 881 thousand passengers in urban-suburban transport, 67 thousand passengers in rail transport, and 738 769 passengers were carried in air transport.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, in comparison with the same period of 2023, the quantity of goods carried in freight road transport increased by 8.7%, in rail transport increased by 73.5%, while in air transport decreased by 2.7%.
