The publication covers the eight statistical regions of the Republic of North Macedonia, presenting their socioeconomic, demographic and spatial-geographical characteristics, as well as the characteristics that connect or distinguish them.
The regional perspective of data – on population, economy, education, health, infrastructure and environment – plays a key role in planning, monitoring and assessing the development of the country. By systematizing and visually presenting information through tables, graphs and thematic maps, we enable easier perception of the potentials and challenges of each region and their mutual comparability.
