Deepening the cooperation with UNICEF
The director of the State Statistical Office, Mr. Dejan Stankov had a meeting with the representative of UNICEF in our country, Ms. Leslie Miller and her team, during which he was introduced to the ongoing activities of the UNICEF Office in Skopje.
Mrs. Leslie Miller referred to the results that were jointly achieved and emphasized the importance of the statistical data produced by the Office in the creation of policies, measures and activities for improving the condition of children and youth in the country.
Director Stankov emphasized that the Office, within its mandate for the production of official statistical data and as the coordinator of the national statistical system, makes every effort to meet the data needs of all users, and especially appreciates UNICEF's commitment of using the official statistics in achieving the set goals.
It was also about the future joint activities that are part of the annual work plans of the two institutions and which are a continuation of the already established cooperation, as well as the possibilities for expanding the range of activities and achieving even more valuable results.
