In the direction of deepening and intensifying cooperation, yesterday was held a coordination meeting of the directors of the Central Registry and the State Statistical Office, Mrs. Anita Stamnova and Mr. Dejan Stankov.

Accession negotiations and the integration of candidate countries for membership in the European Union depend on strong and effective national statistical institutions.

The State Statistical Office will electronically download the foreign trade data from the Customs Administration. This is determined by the Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed by the director of the State Statistical Office, Dejan Stankov, and the director of the Customs Administration, Boban Nikolovski.
