On February 24, 2025, the Director of the State Statistical Office held a meeting with representatives of the Economic Research and Policy Institute “Finance Think”. The purpose of the meeting was to define activities that will increase the scope of cooperation between the State Statistical Office and the non-governmental sector, with a special emphasis on the scientific and research community.
The State Statistical Office and “Finance Think” signed a memorandum of cooperation back in 2017, which was focused on strengthening ties with the users of statistical data in the field of scientific research and policies.
The meeting aims to expand this partnership and to define new activities and opportunities for active participation of the non-governmental sector in sharing data, research and resources, in order to advance public policy and the development of economic strategies.
The meeting was productive and provided new directions for increasing cooperation in the future, with a focus on inclusiveness and an active role of the non-governmental sector in the use of statistical data for economic and social research.
