In 2024, 6 439 enterprise births were registered, representing 9.3% of the total number of active market-oriented enterprises within the business sector¹⁾.

Compared to 2023, an increase of 2.9% was observed in enterprise births.

These enterprises engaged 10 697 people, representing a decrease of 28.1% compared to the previous year. Of the newly created enterprises, 27.2% were without employees.

There were 4 175 enterprise deaths in 2023, or 6.2% of the total number of active enterprises, mainly in the Wholesale and retail trade sector.
