Gross Domestic Product grew by 3.1 % in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the first quarter of 2025
According to the estimated data of the State Statistical Office, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2026 was 3.1%
In the first quarter of 2026, bigger increase was recorded in the sections F Construction by 7.2% and K and L – Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 6.1%.
Final consumption in the first quarter of 2026 increased nominally by 7.3% and its share in the GDP structure was 86.4%.
Gross Capital Formation in the first quarter of 2026 increased nominally by 1.8% as a result of the increase in Gross Fixed Capital Formation.
According to seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, the growth rate of Gross Domestic Product in the first quarter of 2026, compared to the first quarter of 2025, was 3.3%.
