Gross Domestic Product, second quarter 2026

Gross domestic product grew by 4.3% in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025

According to the estimated data of the State Statistical Office, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the second quarter of 2026 was 4.3%.

In the second quarter of 2026, a bigger increase was recorded in the sections F - Construction by 21.9% and R, S and T - Arts, entertainment and recreation; Other service activities; Activities of households as employers; undifferentiated goods- and services-producing activities of households for own use by 5.1%.

Final consumption in the second quarter of 2026 increased nominally by 7.0%, and its share in the GDP structure was 83.2%.

Gross Capital Formation in the second quarter of 2026 increased nominally by 14.5% as a result of the increase in Gross Fixed Capital Formation.

According to seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the second quarter of 2025, was 4.0%.
