The total gross electricity produced in April 2026 was 497 327 MWh, which represents 88.8 % of domestic electricity consumption
In April 2026, the total consumption by types of energy commodities was: 559 906 МWh of electricity, 8.026 mil. nm3 of natural gas, 268 515 tonnes of coal and 83 924 tonnes of petroleum products.
Gross national electricity production participated with 88.8 % in gross national electricity consumption, while 99.9 % of the total national consumption of coals were used for generation of electricity.
