Utilisation and protection of water against pollution by business entities, 2025
In 2025, 11.3% less water was abstracted from water sources than in 2024
The total amount of water abstracted by industrial enterprises in 2025 was 6 067 million m3, in which the share of section D - Electricity, gas, stream and air conditioning supply was the highest with 99.0%.
According to the source of water supply to enterprises, the largest amount of water was supplied from surface water, 49.7%.
The total amount of water used in 2025 was 3 096 million m3and compared to 2024 decreased by 10.6%.
Of the total discharged wastewater in 2025, 20.6% was purified.
