Industrial production volume index, July 2026

The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in July 2026, in comparison with July 2025, decreased by 5.9%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 3.4%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 19.5%.

The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased production in the divisions:

- Manufacture of beverages,
- Manufacture of tobacco products,
- Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products,
- Manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations,
- Manufacture of rubber and plastic products and
- Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products.

The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in July 2026, in comparison with July 2025, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 9.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by 3.1%, but lower in Energy by 22.2%, Capital goods by 2.9% and Durable consumer goods by 9.9%.

The industrial production index in the period January – July 2026, in comparison with January – July 2025, was 100.9.
