Industrial production volume index, June 2026
The industrial production in June 2026, in comparison with June 2025, increased by 6.5%
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in June 2026, in comparison with June 2025, decreased by 3.8%, in the section Manufacturing it increased by 7.9%, while in the section Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply it decreased by 8.2%.
The increase in the section Manufacturing is mostly due to increased production in the divisions:
- Manufacture of beverages,
- Manufacture of tobacco products,
- Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products,
- Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products,
- Manufacture of basic metals,
- Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment,
- Manufacture of electrical equipment,
- Manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and
- Manufacture of furniture.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2026, in comparison with June 2025, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 11.7%, Capital goods by 8.6%, Durable consumer goods by 8.6% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.0%, but lower in Energy by 11.1%.
The industrial production index in the period January – June 2026, in comparison with January – June 2025, was 100.9.
