Transport of passengers by bus, first quarter 2026

In the first quarter of 2026, the total number of passengers carried in road passenger transport was 9 348 thousand, a decrease of 5% compared to the first quarter of 2025, as follows:

•    In urban transport down by 4.7%
•    In suburban transport down by 8.8%
•    In national transport up by 9.2%
•    In international transport up by 1.3%

The total number of passenger-kilometres was 248 568 thousand, an increase of 0.3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year:

•    In urban transport down by 1.8%
•    In suburban transport down by 8.0%
•    In national transport up by 7.7%
•    In international transport down by 0.4%
