On November 18, 2024, the Director of the State Statistical Office, Mr. Dejan Stankov, held a meeting with Ms. Vesna Prentoska, President of the Institute of Accountants and Chartered Accountants.

As part of its efforts to raise the level of statistical literacy among young people, today the State Statistical Office hosted a group of students from the High School "Josif Josifovski" from Gevgelija.

As a result of the long-term successful cooperation, today, the directors of the State Statistical Office, Dr. Dejan Stankov, and of the Administration for Public Revenues, MSc. Elena Petrova, signed a Data Exchange Agreement between the two institutions.

Yesterday and today (November 7-8) the 33rd International Annual Conference for users of PxWeb and other Px-tools is being held in Skopje. The State Statistical Office is the co-host of the event, together with Statistics Sweden

This year, additional progress was noted in the Report on chapter 18 Statistics, where a high level of compliance was noted in the statistical infrastructure, while some progress was noted in the sectoral statistics.

Today, in the premises of the State Statistical Office, a meeting was held with the Chamber of Accountants dedicated to the promotion of mutual cooperation.

In front of a large number of students, the director of the SSO, Dr. Dejan Stankov, gave a lecture on the topic: "Official statistics, a window for understanding society"

The 9th European Statistics Day (20 October 2024) will be celebrated under the following motto issued by ESAC: “Official Statistics, a window for understanding society”.
