Meeting with the Institute of Accountants and Chartered Accountants
On November 18, 2024, the Director of the State Statistical Office, Mr. Dejan Stankov, held a meeting with Ms. Vesna Prentoska, President of the Institute of Accountants and Chartered Accountants.
The meeting discussed the importance of quality accounting data and their use for statistical purposes, several activities for systematic improvement of the systems were reviewed, and it was discussed about the establishment of mutual cooperation through the exchange of knowledge and experiences. The steps that the State Statistical Office is taking to reduce the burden on reporting units were also presented.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the members of the Institute will participate in thematic presentations on statistical surveys, which will further contribute to the appropriate completion of statistical forms and improvement of data quality.
